Steven Cramer serves as Partner at Bauman Katz & Grill LLP. He focuses in the areas of commercial, construction and real estate litigation. In this capacity, Mr. Cramer represents owners, contractors, design professionals, sureties, cooperatives and condominiums in both litigation and negotiation of contracts.
Prior to Bauman Katz & Grill LLP, Mr. Cramer served as an associate at Ross & Cohen and Zetlin and DeChiara where his primary focus was construction litigation and representation of construction industry clients and design professionals.
Mr. Cramer earned his Juris Doctor from Brooklyn Law School. He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from St. John’s College in Annapolis, Maryland. He also attended the University of Maryland’s Graduate School of Architecture for two years. Mr. Cramer is a member of the Bar of the State of New York, and is admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York and the Second Circuit Court of Appeals. He is a member of the Association of the Bar of the City of New York (where he served on the Construction Law Committee), the American Bar Association and the Association of the Bar of the State of New York, where he is a member of the Commercial and Federal Litigation Committee.
Mr. Cramer’s reported cases include Betal Environmental Corp. v. Local Union Number 78, 160 F. Supp. 246 (S.D.N.Y. 2001).
