Mark S. Bauman is a Founding Partner of Bauman Katz & Grill LLP. He has strong experience in the areas of real estate and corporate/transactional matters. Prior to founding Bauman Katz & Grill, Mr. Bauman had his own law firm.
Mr. Bauman earned his Juris Doctor from New York University School of Law. He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree summa cum laude from the State University of New York at Binghamton. Mr. Bauman is a member of the Bar of the State of New York, and is admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York. He is a member of the New York State Bar Association.
Mr. Bauman represents a wide range of clientele in all aspects of real estate and business transactions including the purchase and sale of hotels, the purchase, sale, leasing and ground leasing of real estate, the purchase and sale of businesses, mortgage financing, as well as the preparation of corporate shareholders’ agreements and operating agreements for limited liability companies. Among his recently concluded transactions are the net leasing of a two hundred thousand square foot office building in Manhattan, the sale of three contiguous parcels aggregating eighty thousand square feet in Long Island City, and the bulk sale of seven Dunkin’ Donuts franchised stores. Among the clients of the firm for whom Mr. Bauman performs services are the largest chain of retail Laundromat stores in the United States, and one of the largest real estate development companies in New York City.
