Elvira Barisano is an Associate at Bauman Katz & Grill LLP. Ms. Barisano’s practice includes construction law and commercial litigation. She also has extensive experience in professional liability defense and insurance coverage cases.
Before joining Bauman Katz & Grill, Ms. Barisano served as a corporate construction counsel at LePatner & Associates LLP where she gained experience defending and prosecuting construction disputes, designer liability, labor law and general liability actions.
Ms. Barisano earned both Juris Doctor and Bachelor of Arts degree from St. John’s University, graduating summa cum laude. She is admitted to the bar in the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York and also the State of New Jersey.
Ms. Barisano’s reported cases include North Moore Street Developers, LLC v. Meltzer/Mandl Architects, P.C. 23 A.D.3d 27, 799 N.Y.S.2d 485 (1st Dep’t 2005).
