David M. Grill is a Founding Partner at Bauman Katz & Grill LLP. He has substantial experience and expertise in commercial litigation concentrating in the areas of construction, real estate and landlord-tenant litigation. In addition, Mr. Grill has extensive experience negotiating and drafting construction contracts. He currently represents major developers, landlords, general contractors and trade contractors.
Prior to founding Bauman Katz & Grill LLP, Mr. Grill served as an Associate at Lebensfeld Borker & Sussman, LLP and Ross & Cohen, LLP. In this capacity, he was responsible for, and successfully litigated, numerous construction, real estate and general commercial actions.
Mr. Grill earned his Juris Doctor from Brooklyn Law School, where he was a Dean’s Merit Scholar and a member of the Brooklyn Journal of International Law. He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from State University of New York at Binghamton. Mr. Grill is a member of the Bar of the State of New York and the Bar of the State of New Jersey, and is admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York. He is a member of the Association of the Bar of the City of New York, and served as a member on the construction committee.

Town of Ramapo, 280 A.D. 2d 667, 721 N.Y.S.2d 248 (2d Dep’t 2001); Hudson Electrical Contractors, Inc. v. Merrian Gateway Associates, 279 A.D.2d 611, 719 N.Y.S.2d 881 (2d Dep’t 2001); Harry Stern v. Jiab Realty Corp., 242 A.D.2d 701, 664 N.Y.S.2d 952 (2nd Dep’t 1997).
